I Am Nature, I Am Love

Long ago there was only light, a beautiful opal white Light.

This Light was the energy of Love, It was Nature.

The Light knew it was Nature, it knew it was Love,

but when it asked It's Self there were no words to describe what Nature and Love were.

All it knew was I am Nature, I am Love.

The curiosity of the Light to know who and what It was grew and grew.

The feeling was so powerful that it brought into Being a diamond.

This diamond was a great crystal and it reflected the Light like a mirror,

splitting the brilliant white into many new colors.

The first color the Light saw was black, and this was space.

"Oh, I am Space! Endless in all directions, so empty it seems,

but I know that since I am Love that this Space is full of Love!" thought the Light,

and the blackness of Space was Nature, and It was Love.

Then came Grey and Brown, the colors of the dirt and rocks of Earth.

"Oh, I am the Earth! So hard and strong" thought the Light.

The colors of the Earth were Nature, they were Love.

Then, bursting through the darkness of space a brilliant Yellow appeared,

this was the sun, and it warmed space and the Earth.

"I am also the Sun, my light shines from within and is forever glowing!" thought the Light.

The Light shined so bright as the Sun and it was Nature, It was Love.

Then the color blue came in many shades at once,

a dark blue, a light blue, and an even lighter blue.

These colors were the water, the sky, and the clouds.

The light from the Sun made the water sparkle,

and brought forth the day as it rose on the shores of the Earth.

"Oh, I am Water, I am Sky, and the clouds, what a beautiful world I Am! Thought the light,

and all these shades of blue were Nature, they were Love.

Where the Earth met the water and the sky, became a green.

It was so beautiful, the light was filled with joy!

This green was a plant, a fern that stretched into the warmth of the Sun.

"I am the plants! In the space that I Am is the Earth,

and on the Earth the Water, Sun, and Air bring LIFE forth….oh, how wonderful, I am LIFE!"

This first little green bit of Life was Nature and It was Love.

Many new colors appeared as flowers began to grow on the plants.

The Light, watching over all of this, looking through a diamond within,

saw the purple, orange, the reds and pinks of the flowers.

It knew that all it saw was It's Self, that it was Nature and Love.

It became so many things, and yet it Knew it was One,

One radiant light reflected in countless ways.

The light watched as the Green grew over most of lands, becoming many different types of plants.

Then, as the diamond within the Light spun around, something of many colors appeared.

In the green fields of the land and the Blue water of the ocean.

these things of many colors were animals, birds, fish, bugs, and little hairy critters.

They ate the plants, drank the water, breathed the air, and made homes of all sorts.

"Wow!" said the light "I am also the creatures, I am so many things!"

"Yet still I am Nature, I am Love."

After some time passed, many new plants arose,

many new creatures appeared.

Then something very special happened.

A unique looking creature, quite different from the animals, arose.

The light was truly filled with wonder!

Watching the Humans learn and grow amazed the Light, it became swept away in what it saw.

The Light decided it would live as this new creature, in it's many shades of pink, yellow, brown, and black.

It chose to be Human, so it could feel, taste, touch and smell the beauty of all that It is.

Many years passed and the Humans became so many,

until the whole Earth was covered with the Light, which was living, breathing, and walking about.

The Light had forgotten about it's discovery,

about the question It asked, and the response that followed.

The Light was just too busy exploring the world as a human.

The Light had forgotten It was Nature, It had forgotten that all that there was is Love.

As a Human the Light thought Nature was only the plants, the animals, the Earth and things like the weather.

It had come to believe that Love was only a feeling

and this feeling was difficult to find or have.

The Light within us each had fallen asleep,

disconnected from the Light that is All the rest of Nature.

but now…We remember!

I am Nature, I am Love, I am all things.

All things have come to be by asking a question, by asking of what I am.

Each thing I make, each word I say, food I eat, each thought i think,

all these things are me, the most beautiful Light, and it glows from within.

I am Nature and I am Love.
